A number of 1st Ince and Elton Scouts took part in a rather wet and windy District Orienteering Competition today, and one of our teams scooped up second place in the Juniors competition!

The North West Cheshire District Orienteering Competition as an annual event which is split into two categories, Juniors and Seniors. Scouts are put into teams of 2 and placed in a category depending on their age. The teams are then sent out on an Orienteering Course around Delamere Forest with Juniors going for 8 checkpoints and Seniors going for 10 in the shortest possible time.

So a massive well done to our winning team, and not forgetting the rest of our Scouts that took part who did very well too!
