On Friday 17th June, 6 of our Scouts descended on Queen Charlotte’s Wood to take part in this year’s North West Cheshire Scouts Camping Competition.

Battling the wind and the rain, the Scouts embarked on a weekend of camping without any help from leaders where they erected their own patrol tents, cooked their own meals on an open fire and took part in activities and tasks organised by the competition organisers.

So the result? Our Scouts come a very respectable 6th place with points between all the teams taking part very close. Well done to those Scouts that took part and we eagerly await next years competition!
